We are proud to have submitted our most recent short film to the Ashland Independent Film Festival, for their LOCALS ONLY program.
Of course, we do not know if our film has been chosen yet, but we are hopeful.
This film entitled look/SEE is a short experimental approach to landscapes and hopes to inspire the viewer to take a deeper look at whats going on around them.
The original score connects directly to the images with lyrics that illuminate the LOOKING and highlight the effects of SEEING. CORNFLOWER is a vocal musician creating sonic landscapes with modern mantra-like lyrics on top of live-looped layers of sound. He builds dimensions of harmony and groove using a mix of experimental a cappella soul, world-funk, jam & electronica over a delicate balance of structure and improvisation.
The images are hand picked from a huge collection of nature video that filmmaker Greeley Wells has shot in beautiful 4K, over the course of the past few years, throughout Southern Oregon. Utilizing a technique referred to as a “Slow Pull”, these segments slowly reveal detail after detail, while the invitation is to Look beyond the details to feel the deeper meaning in nature and indeed in Life.
